30 minutes from The Old Mill this is by far the Dads' favourite of adventure parks.
Exmouth Beach
Just a 45 minute drive to Exmouth where there is loads to do around this sandy beach. From trampolines, mini trains, large slides, ball parks etc.

Lyme Regis
Just 45 minutes away where you can either build sand castles in the sand or take a boat trip out of the ancient harbour. Mackerel Fishing - Join a one hour boat trip from Cobb Harbour aboard KRAKEN, an MCA licensed passenger boat. Try to catch your supper and see the amazing Jurassic coast from the sea. Oake Manor Golf Course
This wonderful golf course is only a 10 minute drive away.
Wiveliscombe open aire heated swimming pool
A beautifull, recently restored lido. Open May to September and measures 27m x 10m. 1.4m - 2.1m deep. This wonderful facility is only 20 minutes drive from The Old Mill and situated in a park where there is also a new play area for all ages.
Landrover Experiences
One of only nine Land Rover approved centres across the UK. You'll climb muddy inclines, tackle different surfaces and get to grips with a range of off-road conditions. You'll have a chance to experience one of the vehicles, a Defender, Range Rover, Range Rover Sport, Discovery 3 or NEW Freelander - vehicles that really have been everywhere and done everything. And now you can do the same. What's more you'll be able to enjoy some truly beautiful surroundings. It really is an education and - above all - it's fun.'
Haldon Forest Park
Haldon Forest Park, an hours drive from the Old Mill, is a great forest park. With trails for a short walk, or hire a bike and discover the cycle trails or join in the fun on the Play Trail. Alternatively sign up for the Go Ape high wire adventure course or if an experienced mountain biker, take to the Freer Ride Trails. Something for all the family.
Treasure Trails
The Trails are a fun, healthy, and educational way to get you out and about exploring. Some Trails require you to solve a murder mystery whilst others require you to find the location of hidden treasure. Great for a family day out or fun with your partner or friends.
