Croyde, Devon

This charming unspoilt village on the North Devon coast is a popular spot for surfers, with three gorgeous sandy beaches with a backdrop of sand dunes and rolling green hills. All three beaches are great for playing family games on the sand, for building sandcastles and surfing, and you’ll find some great places to eat in Croyde itself or in one of the local villages – try Blue Grove, The Thatch, or Sandleigh Tea Room & Garden.

Note that dog restrictions apply on beaches.
