The Roman Baths and Museum, Bath, Somerset
This ancient site is well worth a visit for its historic interest and national importance. Comprised of a Roman bath house and temple, a pump room, two restaurants and a museum, you can join in Behind the Scenes and Tunnel Tours, and find out how the Romans took their rest and recuperation. The museum houses a fantastic collection of artefacts from this period, including offerings to the goddess Sulis Minerva, which were thrown into the Sacred Spring.
Open every day except Dec 25 and 26, varying hours from 9.00am- 10.00pm, please check before your visit.
