FROM M5 (south bound)

  • Leave M5 at Junction 26 (Wellington). 
  • Take first exit off roundabout. At T junction turn right along narrow lane (signposted Ford Street).
  • At next T junction turn left (signposted Ford Street and Hemyock).
  • Proceed through Ford Street, up long hill. At crossroads turn left (signposted Churchinford and Honiton). 
  • At the end of this road, approx 4 miles, you reach a crossroads, turn right (signposted Churchstanton and Honiton). Continue for 1 mile, turn right (signposted Honiton, Churchstanton and Smeatharpe).  
  • Take the first right hand turn on this road (signposted Churchstanton and Stapley).
  • Stay on this lane through Stapley Village, we are at bottom of hill on the left, opposite Stapley Mill. There is a sign on the side of the road saying Pay Wood Lodges.
 FROM A303 (west bound)
 
  • At Ilminster Roundabout follow signs to Exeter and Honiton on A303.
  • 4 miles along take the turning right just after the Eagle Tavern Pub (signposted Taunton/Wellington)
  • Stay on this road for approx. 4 miles, at crossroad go straight across (signposted Wellington/Churchinford).
  • At T junction turn right (past Holme & Clavel Pub on left).
  • At next crossroad turn left (signposted Churchstanton). Continue for 1 mile, turn right (signposted Honiton, Churchstanton and Smeatharpe).  
  • Take the first right hand turn on this road (signposted Churchstanton and Stapley).
  • Stay on this lane through Stapley Village, we are at bottom of hill on the left, opposite Stapley Mill. There is a sign on the side of the road saying Pay Wood Lodges.
