Book a Sleeps12 property this year and stay in luxurious surroundings so you can be sure you will have a great time whatever the British weather throws at you.
We love our Sleeps12 properties because they allow the space and setting to have a truly fantastic time. Sporting wonderful furnishing and lovely little touches such as a wealth of books at Cobbleside, superb kids play equipment at Fuzzy Orchard, an outdoor covered eating area at Whitehaven and an X box and latest games at The Old Rectory we wouldn’t blame you if you didn’t leave but some of our properties are situated in the perfect location for some of the country’s biggest events.
Bristol Balloon Fiesta
Taking place this year from Thursday 11th – Sunday 14th August you will be treated to just about the best display of hot air balloons in the world. You can even take a Champagne Hot Air Balloon Flight this year! The Balloon Fiesta is in its 38th year and people return year after year to see the spectacular displays both in the day and for the legendary night glow which is just what it says…. The balloons are all lit up and simply stunning.
Our properties Henfield Barn and Holemoor Stables are located close by and only a short drive to the venue.
Henfield Barn sleeps up to 15 people in sumptuous style and elegance. A quirky house you’ll never want to leave. A brand new indoor swimming pool and hot tub lead off of the kitchen and the gardens are great – you may even be able to see the balloons from the decking area.
Holemoor Stables is a little further out but you could really make a day of it with a spot of shopping in Bristol or Bath first. Holemoor Stables is one of Sleeps12 most popular properties and you can see why. Beautifully maintained to the highest standards whilst keeping a homely feel this has space in abundance. Dine outside on the patio overlooking the lake. Sleeping up to 18 people Holemoor Stables has guest returning year after year.
Radio 1 Big Weekend
Taking place this year in Exeter the West Country is in for a real treat. Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th May the usually quiet Devon will be in rave mode to welcome some of the biggest names in music. Tickets are limited and available soon so if you are staying in properties such as Culmbridge House or Wayside then it may be worth having a go at getting tickets!
Culmbridge House is located in a village in Devon. With a lovely garden and unique rooms this property welcomes you from the moment you step foot through the gate. An indoor swimming pool and games room is located a few metres away and there is a great park in the village for the little ones. Luxurious furnishings come as standard and we promise you’ll enjoy some great walks and pub lunches in this property.
Wayside is also in Devon and boasts one of the best pools on the sleeps12 books. Plenty of glass means that you really know that you are in the Devon countryside and the views are beautiful. Relax in the huge bathrooms and get competitive in the games room. There really is lots to do at this great house.
With the line up featuring people such as Adele and Coldplay this is, some might say, the ultimate festival. 5 days of camping (and possibly 5 days of not showering!) may put some people off so why not go one step further from Glamping and stay in a fantastic sleeps12 property! Riverside Cottage and Walnut Arbour are a short drive from the venue and provide the much needed showering facilities not to mention comfy beds and even a pool and hot tub at Walnut Arbour.
Simply said this property has been beautifully put together by an owner who really should be an interior designer! Small but tasteful touches make this property one of a kind. Each individually designed bedroom makes you want to try each one while the cosy yet comfortable dining area brings everyone together. An outside hot tub makes this a great place to stay.
Located in the same village as Riverside Cottage is Walnut Arbour. 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms this converted willow barn is spacious and friendly. An indoor pool and hot tub allow you to relax in comfort. Why not have a BBQ while you are staying in the lovely garden?
